If you are a wildlife enthusiast, they are several national parks to visit in Burkina Faso. Altogether, they account for the majority of animals found throughout the African continent.

Park of Arly Lions, elephants, buffalos, hyenas, birds, antelopes, giraffes, rhinoceros, buffalos, panthers, cheetahs,  435 Kms from Ouagadougou in the Southeastern part of the country.
Park of Pô. (Kaboré Tembi National Park) Antelopes, monkeys and crocodiles. 120 Kms from Ouagadougou, near the tourist city of Tiébélé. 
National Park of W Lions, elephants, gazelles, monkeys, warthogs, birds, and buffaloes, hippopotami, panthers,  antelopes, giraffes, rhinoceros, birds. One of the largest in Africa, it extends into Benin and Niger.. About 200 kms from Ouagadougou.
Nazinga Game Reserve Warthogs, elephants, antelopes, monkeys, gazelles, and birds. About an hour drive from Ouagadougou.
Deux-Balé conservation forest. Lots of Elephants. 176 kms from Ouagadougou, near Boromo.
Hippopotami Lake hippopotamus amphibius 275 kms Southwest of Ouagadougou near Bobo.
